Revenue from Apple, without a middleman.
Apple signs every subscription event it sends. Union verifies the signature, counts the money, and forwards the original bytes to your backend, because Apple accepts only one production URL per app.
What you get. Once App Store Server Notifications is connected.
Apple as the source of truth
Purchases, renewals, refunds and trial conversions as Apple reports them, in the currency they were charged.
Your backend keeps working
Every notification is forwarded to your own endpoint with retries and a log of each attempt.
Purchases on the person
When your app sets `appAccountToken` to `Union.installId`, a purchase joins the install that made it.
What it needs.
- The notification URL from Union pasted into App Store Connect.
- Optionally your own backend URL to forward to.
- `appAccountToken` set to `Union.installId` at purchase, which cannot be added for past purchases.
What Union keeps, and what it does not.
- Product, price, currency, storefront and the notification type.
- Each forward attempt’s outcome and status code, never your backend’s response body.
Questions about App Store Server Notifications.
Why is there no USD total?
Apple does not send a USD price. Union shows what was charged per currency instead of converting with a rate it did not measure.
Does Union stop my backend from receiving notifications?
No. Union answers Apple first and forwards each notification afterwards, whether or not your backend is up.
